  1. Business logic for effective input of current people, process, systems and risk by understanding the linkages between these
  2. Sophisticated and proprietary algorithms that quantify these relationships to identify where the gaps are; and optimize for the objectives within functional constraints
  3. Libraries of best practices around controls, skills, enterprise architecture for easy selection of the alternatives that best address the gaps to meet the objectives
The Role
The Business Consultant Manager is responsible for effective use of Maven within the Client Organization (CO) and successful design and implementation of client projects allocated to them including:
  • facilitating client workshops including proper documentation to obtain relevant project objectives, scope of the project, success metrics, relevant stakeholders and timelines
  • using Maven analytics and insights to enable senior stakeholders in CO get a big-picture view of their process
  • creating visualizations and dashboards to help CO interpret and make important design decisions with the models
  • conducting in-depth product demos during the sales process or as required by existing CO to expand product usage
  • supporting CO in identifying appropriate projects ensuring effective use of Maven
  • mapping Maven features to build relevant APIs to existing product / technology stack in a CO, enabling storing and analysing client information and implementing solutions
  • acting as mentor to various levels within CO, providing advice on effective product usage.
  • interfacing with project managers and clients, conducting strong governance to ensure successful and timely completion of projects
(S)he will draw on previous experience in operations, consulting, and/or process excellence to deliver timely, quality solutions required to deliver successful Proof of Concept resulting in a sale while engaging stakeholders including
  • Decision makers whose service delivery, cost and control goals we seek to meet
  • Change enablers that manage process excellence, technology, risk, HR functions as required
  • Operations managers and team leaders responsible for implementing and adopting the new model
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop familiarity with Maven methodology, RACI matrix, project plans and requisite internal and external stakeholders’ roles and responsibilities
  • Learn and effectively use the state-of-the-art analytics in Maven to recommend changes to client
  • Act as a techno-functional consultant and drive workshops with various senior client stakeholders to arrive at optimal design decisions
  • Drive product adoption and achieve process success for customers by sharing best practices, relevant use-cases, appropriate Maven analytics
  • Present and drive buy in on the solution design from the client leadership, operations and supporting functions during a Proof of Concept
  • Understand other competitor / enabling products in process transformation to help client understand the differences between Maven and other products; how to build an effective digital toolkit to accelerate process transformation
  • Serve as the connective tissue of between Sales, Account Management, Product Management, and other internal groups to share knowledge and drive people towards a common goal
Develop projects plans working with relevant stakeholders in the Insorce and the client organization as appropriate.
  • Conduct workshops to define re-engineering objectives and project scope with client leadership and operational leads
  • Identify and define the different stakeholders required to provide data, to work with on analyses, and to present the recommendation
  • Draw up the project timelines and take responsibility for the documentation and successful completion of design and implementation statements of work allocated to the Consultant
  • Support and administer all tasks required for meeting the contractual and revenue collection procedures
    • Managing all documentation related to the projects and follow up, including:
      • Taking detailed notes
      • Ensuring the Insorce team prepares and publishes the results of the project / POC to all concerned after appropriate internal and client reviews
      • Publishing high quality meeting minutes to all attendees, with a clear set of action items
      • Agreeing the next steps with all concerned
    • Arranging necessary client meetings post the projects to get everyone on board with the results and value identified
    • Confirm client intent to move forward
Participate in initiatives to ensure design and implementation processes are improved and sustained
  • Conduct third party research on client specific process to better understand the scope and challenges inherent in the project
  • Review projects regularly to capture lessons learnt and to create case studies, presentations and other collateral to share knowledge and experience across external & internal stakeholders
  • Support Maven product innovation by discussing new analytics, process patterns, or client situations with the technical team and be prepared to test product features before release

  • A high degree of flexibility is needed and the post holder may be required to perform work not specifically referred to above, including travel and working with global client time zones, locations and deadlines when required, within the scope of the post
Professional qualifications
Education degree
  • MBA with specialization in Operations / Process Excellence is preferred
  • Master’s degree in other disciplines and / or bachelor’s degree will also qualify if backed up with demonstrable work experience
Work Experience
  • 8-9-year prior work experience, of which at least 3-year experience in process excellence or as a product / business consultant
  • Prior demonstrable work experience with Business / Process Consulting Firms or BPOs with OPEx will be preferred
Technical Requirements
  • Competent, hands-on user of Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Visio
  • Knowledge of MS Project is desirable

  • Understanding of Process transformation / Solution Design / Transition / Business Transformation initiatives

  • Strong communication skills with clarity and conviction in explaining facts and analyses to support solution and implementation buy-in
  • Determination to improve and to deliver work that is of high quality and timely without always having to be asked
  • Actively seeks out new challenges, quickly identifies key issues and workable solutions through effective and logical decisions
  • Ability to work flexibly across a range of simultaneous initiatives and as part of a team
  • High degree of self-motivation along with a desire to gain from a steep learning curve
  • Willingness to travel (as required during client projects)
